Signs your multipoint lock is failing
- You have to lift the handle harder than before to lock the door
- The handle droops or no longer springs back
- The key turns but the door stays unlocked, or the key won’t turn at all
- The door drops and catches on the frame
TOP TIP! It is always cheaper to have the door repaired before the gearbox breaks. If it’s difficult to open or close, have it repaired ASAP. Forcing the lock system will break the internal gearbox.

Almost always. Often it just requires a service and some TLC, sometimes a new gearbox, hinges, handles or a cylinder is required.

We carry a large range of gearboxes, handles, hinges and cylinders. Send a photo of the lock face plate and we can check the make beforehand.
What is an anti-snap cylinder?
Lock snapping is a common break-in method on euro cylinders. We supply euro cylinders designed to make snapping cylinders an issue of the past. Our cylinders offer anti-drill & anti-picking protection.
